The webcomics blog about webcomics

Bald Lemur Sighting

Adding to our previous list of webcomics panels at SDCC:

DUMBRELLA
FRIDAY, JULY 21
2:30-3:30PM
ROOM 7B

Artists from Dumbrella, one of the most popular online comic collectives, discuss webcomics, independent publishing and subverting popular culture. Feel free to quiz Andrew Bell (the Creatures in my Head), Sam Brown (explodingdog), Steven Cloud (B.O.a.S.a.S.), Jon Rosenberg (Goats), and Richard Stevens III (Diesel Sweeties) about anything your inter-net heart desires.

Bonus points and a one American dollar cash money to the first person to ask the panel, “What is the collective noun for members of Dumbrella?”*

* Winner must find me at the panel to claim the dollar.

Er. Dumbrellans?

Dumbrallites.

Dumbrellists.

You’re all way off.

Two notes:

One, you may have noticed that a comment was deleted here. It was posted here under my name, but I didn’t write it. Thus, removed.

Second, please re-read the offer: you have to ask the panel. With any luck, this will give Jon an opportunity to give us an amplified quote to match last year’s SPACE DILDOS.

I did in fact read the article. My question was meant to imply “Why ask them a question with such an obvious known answer?”. Though I concede that Dumbrellists beats Dumbrellans in a Google fight.

I would submit that the answer is not obvious or known. It is, on the other hand, hilarious
